Two recent publications highlight some of the recurring problems specifically concerning the proportion of diseases attributable to environmental exposures.
Despite the likely positive effects of these regulatory and programmatic changes on disease reporting, the proportion of diseases reported remains low, as is consistent with data from other passive reporting surveillance systems (21).
The proportion of diseases requiring operation showed a significant difference: hepatocellular carcinoma was the most prevalent disease in both groups; liver cirrhosis requiring transplantation was more common in the AKI group; and liver metastasis of other primary cancers was present in >30% of patients in the non-AKI group.
In addition to the genotypic data, marker (or SNP) location, population growth rate, and an estimate for the proportion of disease bearing chromosomes being analysed are used by the software.
Knowing the proportion of disease due to S. Typhi and S. Paratyphi A is also significant for intervention [17], as these serovars may have subtle differences in their modes of transmission and may necessitate differing control measures [18], [19].
This figure is intended to estimate the proportion of disease incidence attributable to a specific variant.
Missing links will lead to underestimation of the proportion of disease due to recent transmission and of transmissions.
Thanks to Ludwig my first paper got accepted! The editor wrote me that my manuscript was well-written
