CS is an emerging theory for reconstructing sparse signals from a much lower sampling rate than Shannon/Nyquist theorem.
The majority of the algorithms described in the literature involve an initial data reduction step, transforming the audio signal into an onset-detection function (ODF), which is a representation of the audio signal at a much lower sampling rate.
Compared with the architecture using a low-pass sigma-delta modulator, this band-pass solution uses a much lower sampling frequency for the sigma-delta modulator and thus reduces the requirement for frequency response of the detection interface and control electronics.
It was shown how the larger samples produced much lower sampling error, requiring less correction.
The APS and fluorescence curves correlate well taking into account that the APS has a much lower sampling rate than the standoff instrument, and the fact that the APS measured at one point location within the probed volume.
In a previous study, which compared an enhanced software model predictive control algorithm with standard care, the higher parenteral carbohydrate intake in Leuven at that time was suggested to stabilize blood glucose levels, allowing a much lower sampling frequency for similar TGC (37).

Therefore, the current map is recorded within the saturation regime which can be avoided using much lower sample biases as it will be shown later on.
Receiver and detection techniques which operate at a much lower sample rate than Nyquist were proposed in [2, 19] and [20].
If the current map is recorded using a much lower sample bias of only 25 mV, variations in the electric response between distinct CNT arrays can be observed despite the good inside homogeneity (see Figure 3a).
El Salvador shares a higher number of haplotypes with North America (19), followed by Meso-America (10), and then South America (8); note however that the database for Meso-America (n = 395) is of a much lower sample size than the one from North (n = 2,010) and South (n = 1,596).
A much lower sample size (21 22 versus 40 48) was required to classify samples of high rather than low or moderate prevalence.
