The suitability of cellulose/silver nanocomposites to decrease the microbial loads in absorbent materials was studied during the shelf-life of minimally processed foods.
The microbial loads in the bulked milk were nearly similar to the microbial load on the container surface and higher than in milk before bulking, indicating contamination of milk from the container inner surfaces.
Although these factors influence microbial loads in milk, they were the same in the study area, and their effect on microbial load in the milk could not be determined from this survey.
