The maximum current electrode separation (AB) for the VES ranged from 500 to 1800 m.
The field measurements were made with a minimum and maximum current electrode spacing (AB) of 400 and 1,000 m, respectively.
At Abgila (Fig. 1d), VES was conducted with the maximum current electrode spacing (AB) of 1,800 m with the intention of estimating basement depth, but even with the mentioned maximum current electrode separation the apparent resistivity curve did not show any rising trend for larger electrode spacing and therefore any signature of massive bedrock (Fig. 7).
These values were chosen to enable optimal mapping of both shallow and deeply seated structures (>100 m), assuming that penetration is about 1/6 of maximum current electrode spacing.

The signals were preprocessed with the Matlab program "Checker" for all three mappings (Std, Smt-MF, and Smt-LF), using patient-specific settings of minimum and maximum current levels per electrode retrieved from a clinical database.
The VES was conducted with a maximum half-current electrode spacing (AB/2) 900 m.
VES-4 conducted at Abgila (VES-5) has maximum half-current electrode spacing (AB/2) of 900 m for estimating the basement depth at this particular survey point.
The maximum current of CuO-TNTs compositelectrodeses is up to −1.37 matcm2 at −0.5 V and high selectivity for methanol synthesis is also obtained in this case.
However, the maximum current density at the polypyrrole electrode is less than at the uncovered metal.
The Michaelis Menten constantk m and the maximum current densityi maxof the enzyme electrode were 4.97 mM and 84.60 μA cm−2, respectively.
From the statistical data in Fig. 6b, 0.6 V was selected by the fact that NiO HPA electrode exhibits maximum current response to glucose and minimum interference to AA at 0.6 V. Figure 6c displays the typical amperometric responses of NiO HPA and NiO BHPA towards different concentration of glucose at 0.6 V.
