Discover LudwigThe phrase "though for" is not incorrect per se, but it is not commonly used in written English
It may be more commonly used in spoken English, where colloquial phrases are more acceptable. In written English, it may be better to use "although" instead of "though for," as "although" is a more formal word. Example: Though for all his efforts, he still couldn't win the race. Correction: Although he put in a lot of effort, he still couldn't win the race.
