Alternative form of such-and-such
"such and such" is a perfectly acceptable phrase in written English, and can be used in a variety of contexts where you need to refer to something without specifying it. For example: "I don't remember all the details, but it included such and such.".
"Such and such a novel explores colonialism".

'Where is such and such a temple,' or whatever.
