With respect to experienced pain due to task performance NRS scores differed between sitting and both lying (p = 0.048) and provoking condition (p = 0.023), but there was no difference between lying and provoking condition (p = 0.226).
Post hoc analysis showed that this mainly applied to the changes in MT from lying to provoking condition.
