'as we are' is a correct and usable part of a sentence in written English. It is typically used to indicate a comparison between two or more people or things. For example: "I don't think they are as prepared as we are for the upcoming meeting.".
"We're happy as we are".
As we are by them".
"Proud as we are".
War, as we are told, is hell.
Or we can stick as we are.
As we are no longer.
But we cannot continue as we are.
