"I was walking a lot in New York City last week, where there's really no dead zones in terms of things to look at and hear, and yet at the same time I was still, because I'm an idiot, staring at my phone the whole time.

"Along the way, I've frustrated some of my associates because I could see the end zone of a particular thing quicker than they could, so I was moving ahead to conclusions," he said.
