Just when you think you've seen it all, someone shows you something and you think, "duh, why didn't I think of that?" This happened to me recently while testing a recipe for this week's New York Times Magazine's food page, which is about a small shop and restaurant called Talula's Table located 40 miles outside of Philadelphia.
Today Nokia announced the 500 Auto Navigation, which does everything you'd expect an in-car navigation system to do like giving you directions (duh), screening and making phone calls and serving as your entertainment system.
In fact, it is the kind of simple, ingenious design that makes you say, "Duh" -- when somebody else has designed it.
And before you say "duh," let me point out that there are those who shoot at the lower rez to save memory on their camera.
Much like the binder clip cable management system, this is one of those products that make you go "duh, why didn't I think of that".
The water cooling, thermally reactive venting system, and lighting combine to make a system that runs great, looks amazing, and has some innovative features that make you go "duh.
Most people will tell you, "Well duh, of course that's a bad idea".
It also keeps you awake (duh), all of which adds up to the fact that coffee allegedly has tremendous short-term benefits, especially if you work in an office (also duh).
And you're like, duh, because saying you don't like barfing is like saying you hate stepping in dog doo.
