In decades past, Mr. Berger of NYC Swim said, braving the murky waters "made you cooler".
But it's more complicated than that, because black absorbs the heat radiated by your body, too, apparently, so will keep you cooler than white.
So if it's hot, it can make you cooler and if it's cold, it can make you warmer.
It will cover your head and neck and keep you cooler than exposing your head.
Wearing white during the hot summer months makes sense since it keeps you cooler than other colors.
Going to Budapest or Berlin for a couple months won't make you cooler (believe mean, I've tried) or, as a matter of fact, it won't even make you smarter.
