I've tried to think of how a waving hand works better in English than a nodding head, or how a question that elicits "no" instead of "yes" might be required to spark some necessary form of local recognition, but in vain.

Many people who say "yes" might be expressing an idle wish, not a genuine plan the way you might say "yes" to a pollster who asked you if you want to start a business some day.

Unless of course I have been drinking tequila, where the yes might be, 'punch that cop in the face before you makeout with him'... so... ummm... right now it's singing with my band and the band Pink Martini, re-writing the show Crazy Enough for NYC, and gear up for the madness that is SXSW!

A yes might be your only option.
