It must be admitted that much of what's wrong with "Heaven's Gate," beginning with Mr. Cimino's swelled head, can be directly traced to the film for which he received a best-director Oscar in 1978: "The Deer Hunter".
He's now telling God what's wrong with Heaven.

"The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1" — Volume 2 is scheduled to arrive later this year — isn't quite the anarchic blast that this band's previous album, "American Capitalist," was, and it lacks some of that album's pseudopolitical punch.

Its minor-key piano chords carry contrasts like, "Reason to laugh and smile/reason to cry yourself to sleep at night/start a fight/make up break up wrong or right/Heaven for all it's worth can equally be hell on earth".
There were four other new entries in the top 40 including Scouting For Girls' Greatest Hits at eight and AlunaGeorge's Body Music at 11. Backstreet Boys' In A World Like This entered the chart at 16 while metal band Five Finger Death Punch's latest record, The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, went in at 21.
