It is lamentable but undoubtedly true, as the IPCC has concluded, that Mr Mitchell has been the victim of wholly unacceptable behaviour by some police officers, a wrong compounded by the woeful inadequacy of the police investigation into this misconduct.

We must emphasise, nevertheless, that most inaccuracies in OPSIN output are due to wrong compound nomenclature in the CIFs and not to OPSIN malfunction.
However, this would suggest a wrong compound classification as pregnanes are not considered to be androstane derivatives - although 2 contains androstane 3 as a substructure (Figure 1).
To illustrate this problem, we have listed in the Additional file 1 a small sample of entries with wrong compound names in the CIF, indicating also, for each of them, the correct name and both SMILES strings.
There can be confusion between different definitions of solubility, inclusion or exclusion of ionised forms, ambiguity between polymorphs, systematic differences between experimental methods, kinetic solubility may be wrongly identified as thermodynamic, or the solubility of the wrong compound may be measured due to unanticipated chemical reactions occurring in the experimental set-up.
In this case chemicals were added to turn the smoke black, but apparently the wrong chemical compound was introduced to the fire, for it produced neither black smoke nor white smoke but purple haze.
