"Brothers Hypnotic will restore your faith in humanity," wrote a reviewer for CBS, "bring a tear to your eye, a heavy stomp to your right foot and, possibly, make you curse your parents for not forcing you to wake up at the crack of dawn for tuba practice".
The sad thing is that the Wall Street Journal would allow such a slanted and biased reviewer to write a review for their newspaper.
When Sexsmith recorded his own version of "Brandy Alexander," a song he co-wrote with Feist, a reviewer for The Guardian mistakenly wrote that Sexsmith did a bad job on a Feist cover, and suggested that Sexsmith stick to scotch.
The show was "not edgy enough in its love/hate brotherly dynamics and exploration in American rapaciousness, and it's not funny enough to be a full-bodied musical comedy," a reviewer for The Chicago Tribune wrote.
