This may be due to the upward trend in the supply of educated workers, the responsiveness of education systems at different levels of education, as well as microeconomic explanations based on the options of workers at different levels of education.
As predicted, we found that workers with high sucrose responsiveness (GRS 4 7, n = 141) were characterized by a higher number of ovarioles than the bees with lower sucrose responsiveness (GRS 0 3, n = 149, P = 0.037, one-way ANOVA; Fig. 1A B).

Localized support of this nature makes for greater flexibility, better collaboration with health workers and districts and greater responsiveness; it can also result in local norms being taken into account (for example, the remuneration of birth attendants has been tolerated in Keita despite the fact that the NGO promotes free deliveries).
The degree to which costs can be expected to change in response to clinical guideline adoption will depend on both the responsiveness of health worker behaviour, and on the share of patient costs that are attributable to decisions made by health workers.
Additional studies are in progress by this study group using regression analyses to identify other possible contributory factors including: caregiver knowledge and attitudes about referrals, environmental factors (e.g. financial and geographical accessibility) and health system factors (e.g. service availability, health worker availability and health system responsiveness).
