The phrase "work from yesterday" is correct and usable in written English
It can be used when referring to tasks or assignments that were completed or started on the previous day. Example: "I have a lot of work from yesterday that I still need to finish today." Another example could be in a work email: "Attached is the report from yesterday's meeting. Please review and let me know if you have any questions."
