In our analysis, we position ARS and GIW as tools that are utilized within instructional systems to produce learning.
We need to develop visions that go beyond conceptualising digital technology as an instrument within instructional design (what might be called the classic object of interest within the field of educational technology) or a systemic conditioner of education as a specialized communication process (Aagaard, 2018).
This shows that there is a need for more rigorous evaluations as well as methodological support in order to assist game creators and instructors to improve such games as well as to systematically support decisions on when or how to include them within instructional units.
To increase implementation feasibility within limited instructional time during school days, teachers had some flexibility in how they implemented the program.
RQ2: To what extent are students able to show awareness of the connections between mathematics, statistics, science within the instructional unit, and professional practices?

Furthermore, she highlights the significance of using specific methods to improve simulation learning, namely, integration of game use within an instructional programme, high level of learner activity, no gaming time limit, and adopting the simulation game as a supplement to other methods, which is inconsistent with Wouters et al.'s survey (2013).

The primary tool influencing the design of this research was the open-source Generalized Intelligent Framework for Tutoring (GIFT), a modular domain-independent architecture that provides the tools and methods to author, deliver, and evaluate intelligent tutoring technologies within any instructional domain.
