The DICOM standard protocol of medical image exchange and its extensions to radiotherapy data has been implemented in order to enable electronic communication between all modalities within our radiology and radiotherapy departments.
They found that the position of the timing tags on different systems were not the same leading to differences in the tumour centroid position and shape in some cases Based on these findings, this group recommended that the same monitoring systems be used across all modalities within an institution.

However, neither a cross-modal AB nor a correlation between cross-modal and within-modality AB magnitudes was found.
The "within modality cross correlation of MEG-dSPM" was calculated in an analogous fashion.
Averaging of these cross correlations aross spindles and then across subjects yielded the net "within modality" cross correlation of EEG-dSPM.
In support of within-modality integration, we reliably identified crossmodulation frequencies when two stimulus features in one sensory modality were modulated at different frequencies.
The commonly observed decreased T1 performance at lag 1 was found in within-modality, but not between-modality conditions, indicating modality-specific interference between the two targets.
