In this section, we will compare in more detail the way that Hunston (2000), Thetela (1997) and Hood (2004) distinguish between different types of context, with reference to the texts they themselves have analyzed.
With reference to the main text 'signature 1' corresponds to 101.6.1, 'signature 2' corresponds to 101.6.2, 'signature 3' corresponds to 101.6.3 and 'signature 4' corresponds to 101.6.4.
