Regarding immunosuppression therapies, despite common infections (e.g., skin and urinary tract) and direct drug effect (e.g., myelodepression and gastrointestinal disturbs), only 96 serious adverse events possibly or definitely related to immunosuppression have been reported, with 82 resolved with no sequelae, 17 with sequelae, 6 with persistent condition, and only one death (viral meningitis).
