Our finding is in agreement with previously published work which has shown that it is possible to produce libraries of acceptable complexity with 1-10 ng of gDNA [ 5] and that libraries can be made with even as little as 10 pg of DNA, albeit with decreased complexity [ 2, 4- 6].
