The results for the prepared stimulus with the traffic sign against a green forest and a cluttered yellow wall showed the same clear results when measured with the conspicuity index method: the picture with the sign against the green forest had such a large index that the point where the sign could no longer be detected was way outside of the A4 paper used to mark the index point.
Spatial coverage in 3D EPI was increased by a factor of 4.5 compared to 3D GRE, while also the SNR was increased by a factor of 2. Image contrast for both magnitude and phase between gray and white matter was similar for both sequences, with enhanced conspicuity of anatomic details in the 3D EPI images due to the increased SNR.
At MRI they are slightly hypointense on T1-weighted images with increased conspicuity following gadolinium and hyperintense on T2-weighted images.
cDWI2000 image set with similar conspicuity and the same lesion detection rate, but better zonal anatomical delineation, and less distortion, was chosen as the preferable image set.
Metastases do not contain RES cells, thus after super paramagnetic iron oxide injection, the liver metastasis contrast-to-noise ratio is improved with increased lesion conspicuity and detection compared with non-enhanced T2-weighted images[ 50 52].

Thus, agents that remain intravascular and have greater T1-relaxivity per unit of contrast agent are needed in order to amplify signal, improve CNR, and enable vascular imaging with high vessel conspicuity.
Anatomic matching of the fused T2-weighted, b1000 images and PET/CT images was feasible in all tumours with comparable tumour conspicuity on both modalities (Figs. 1 and 2).
Tumor conspicuity increases with fat suppression, which, together with gadolinium enhancement, acts in a complementary fashion [ 39].
