Step-wise loop tests were performed to examine the sample degradation characteristics of sand foam mixtures.
In both ensembles, the double-chain-reversal and the second edge-wise loops moved outwards, whereas the first edge-wise loop moved downwards (Fig. 6C and 6D).
The first K+ bound with the top cap nucleotides at 1.02 ns, and the base of T18 nucleotide in the second edge-wise loop tilted outward to accommodate the hydrated K+ ion (Fig. 2A).

The most flexible regions consisted of three connecting loops (colored purple), especially the double-chain-reversal and the second edge-wise loops (Fig. 6C and 6D).
Herein, a phenanthrolin-dicarboxylate ester (PD) is proved to exhibit selectivity toward parallel and hybrid G-quadruplex structures with propeller and edge-wise loops, over duplex DNA and antiparallel quadruplex structure with diagonal loop.
The G-quadruplex has three backbone strands in one direction and one strand in the opposite direction, and the hybrid [3 + 1] G-tetrads are in turn connected by the double-chain-reversal, edge-wise and edge-wise loops (Fig. 1).

A total of 36 two channel microarrays were hybridized: five root samples were hybridized in a loop-wise fashion using ten arrays; five leave samples were hybridized in a loop-like fashion using fourteen arrays; five root and three leaf samples were hybridized in a loop-like fashion using twelve arrays (additional file 3, table S2).
