Every day I would try to read -- if that's what scrolling up and down a computer screen can be called -- the online editions of The New York Times and The Washington Post, as well as CNN.com, ABCNews.com and the Web edition of my local papers, The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News.

While today there are thousands of ready-made themes that you can use for a WordPress-powered site, what Scroll Kit will do is give users the ability to add even more creativity to the process, if they so choose.
I took note of what worked (scrolling through info screens in the instrument cluster) and what didn't (heated steering wheel; the button is on an infotainment screen).

Any behavior that once scrolled you up now scrolls you down, while scrolling what-was-down now takes you up the page.
Checking our kids' news feeds to see what they are viewing, scrolling through their profiles to see what they're posting, investigating the people who want to follow them, finding out who they've given their password to and monitoring all of their accounts (because most kids have more than one Instagram account, in case you didn't know) doesn't make us helicopter parents.
Then, using our own software, we had two separate test groups try our site, and tracked their interactions with elements on the page: what they clicked on, how far they scrolled, what their next pages were, etc.
