Most people in the world were either low income (56percentt) or poor (15percentt), while only 9percentt lived at an upper-middle-income standard and 7percentt were high income.
In reality, the so-called "new countries" of the United States of America (which separated from the British empire) were high income countries to begin with.
Mr. Faso also said that under a Spitzer administration there would be "higher income taxes".
"A concern is that some of the people who are higher income, but are not high income, will be hit hardest by this increase," said Cynthia Cox, associate director at KFF. Shela Bryan, a 63-year-old maintenance supervisor in Georgia, makes just over the $47,520 limit to qualify for a subsidy.
