These included diversity within and between communities; the validity of Aboriginal views on health and wellbeing; the importance of Aboriginal professionals' and community members' knowledge and expertise in curriculum development; and the contribution that a culturally safe medical workforce can make to improving Aboriginal health outcomes [ 6].
