As some classes of events (such as the well established gene loss) are more likely than other (such as the dubious gene transfer between viruses from distant hosts).
To evaluate how the fully optimised custom array setup compares with other technologies, several analyses were performed in parallel on our mouse and human MAS macroarrays and on other well established gene expression platforms.
