Despite the lack of many membrane proteins, ommatidial formation was not affected in dPob ∆4 photoreceptors in mosaic retina; adherence junctions formed normally and the apical membrane was well differentiated into stalks and rhabdomeres (identified with Crb and phosphorylated moesin, respectively) (Karagiosis and Ready, 2004).
In the present study, the 41 isolates can be well differentiated into their corresponding foci (Figure 2).
We classified "carcinoid tumors" or "islet cell tumors" or well differentiated tumors into grade 1, atypical carcinoid or moderately differentiated tumors into grade 2, poorly differentiated tumors into grade 3, and anaplastic tumors into grade 4 according to the SEER [ 5].

Tumors were divided into three groups, depending on the grade of differentiation: G1 (well differentiated), G2 (intermediate grade of differentiation), G3 (poorly differentiated cancers).
Most of the resultant adenocarcinomas were well differentiated with infiltration into the submucosa, but a minority was poorly differentiated and showed mucinous cancer cells infiltrating into the submucosa.
According to the degree of differentiation, NENs have been divided into well differentiated NENs and poorly differentiated NENs in the 2010 World Health Organization classification of tumors of the digestive system, with the former being termed a neuroendocrine tumor (NET), and the latter, a neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) [ 1].
Well differentiated liposarcoma may progress into dedifferentiated liposarcoma with pleomorphic histology.
In this study, patients with metastatic NECs (n=119) were classified according to WHO guidelines into well differentiated and poorly differentiated (WDNECs and PDNECs).
Histological classification was performed according to the World Health Organization 2003 system [ 16] into well differentiated (G1; n = 33), moderately differentiated (G2; n = 59), and poorly differentiated (G3; n = 24), respectively.
Although the deeper branching orders are uncertain within the Australo-Papuan clade for the 3G and the 3G-WG phylogenies the Australian native Rattus species, including the newly added R. lutreolus and R. villosissimus samples fall into well differentiated clades reinforcing the usefulness of shorter mitochondrial DNA sequences for species identification [ 48].
