The tissue sections obtained from the two central osteochondral slabs of each four weight-bearing compartments, which usually shows the earliest and most severe histological abnormalities [ 12] were evaluated using the Mankin's grading system by an experienced cartilage pathologist [ 13] (Fig. 1).
Lung tissue was divided into four compartments based on the degree of aeration: non-aerated tissue (density from 0 to −100 H.U ., poorly aerated tissue (density from −101 to −500 H.U ., well-aerated tissue (density from −501 to −900 H.U). and over-aerated tissue (density from −901 to −1000 H.U .. Lung tissue weight of each compartment was expressed as a percentage of the total lung weight.
The weight of each compartment was computed by summing the weights of all voxels composing it.
Weight of stomach compartments, rumen papillae length and width, and rumen wall thickness did not differ between diets.
Figure 1 shows the mean values and 95% CIs for changes in body weight and AT compartments, including arm, trunk, and leg regions, in the ILI and DSE groups.
The first equations that have been produced were initially derived by Slaughter et al. 10 In a sample of 310 children and adults aged 8 29 years, prediction equations were cross validated against under body weighting using four compartment models, bone mineral studies and body water dilution.
BMW demonstrated the light weight of the passenger compartment by having two children and a young factory apprentice carry a large section of it on to the stage.
The change in weight of each lung compartment (non-aerated, poorly aerated, well-aerated and over-aerated) between the two positions is always expressed as a percentage change compared to the total lung weight.
However, limb alignment becomes more valgus angulated with an increase in flexion rather than extension [19], which distributes more weight in the lateral compartment and shows lateral JSN in knee flexion.
Rats are known to put more weight on their medial compartment [ 49].
