The objective of the study was to evaluate fungicide timing criteria, including a calendar schedule, and disease incidence and decision-based weather thresholds.
Weather thresholds can provide clues to develop DF management strategies and public health interventions based on routinely collected weather data.
Notably, the images were better able than climate stations to represent areas in the urbanized Kowloon Peninsula and several smaller satellite towns which exceeded hot weather warning thresholds.
