One explanation may be that mouse preferences are very weakly colored by the environment (the laboratory mice were raised in an olfactory poor environment) whereas odor pleasantness in adult humans is likely to be more affected by learning and experience.
Then, Sect. 3 presents our current level of knowledge for the more difficult problem of weakly coloring hypergraphs.
