We have observed the downward propagation of a wave from 98 km to 88 km, as shown in Fig. 8, and an upward propagating wave from the region below 80 to 88 km.
A large-scale project, including a wave barrier (3.3 km long) and a soft enclosure, was implemented to reduce wave energy and sediment resuspension in Lake Taihu, eastern China.

As an example, the obtained residuals for September to November 2010 are shown in Figure 3, right panel, revealing a clear 8-h wave signature >100 km.
Based on consecutive images, we inferred the phase velocity of the waves to be 50 m/s; the wavelength and periodicity of the waves were 38 km and 13 min, respectively.
However, the wave rays from 80 km to 160 km converge onto Choshi City, which is located at the tip of the cape.
