The patients not treated in these services are treated in classic structures providing palliative care but not specialized in palliative care (general hospital wards, home care nursing services, general practitioners, nursing homes...) [ 2].
Then, after delivery, maternity wards inform the patronage nursing services of the impending discharge of a mother and newborn, and visits start again the day after discharge to counsel families, identify additional stress factors and needs, build parenting skills, and refer families to other services as needed.
Nursing services in hospital wards are structured and organized in different ways, with corresponding variations in the organization of the workforce and care processes.
No further latent TB infection appears to have occurred, although the medical activities of the study participants were carried out in 68 different hospitals (or different departments of those hospitals, including infection wards), in nursing homes and mobile nursing services and 35 students indicated that they had contact to TB patients.
