With this method we achieved good estimations of the true volume (deviation <10%%).
FAST yielded the most reproducible segmentation volumes with volume difference standard deviations of 0.55/0.49/0.38 (percentage of intracranial volume) respectively.
The whole coefficients of Redlich Kister equation achieved for the prediction properties of excess molar volume, viscosity deviation, deviation of the excess Gibbs free energy, and surface tension for the studied mixture are listed in Table 8.
The various thermodynamic properties such as excess molar volumes, deviation of viscosity, free energy and excess free energy of activation for viscous flow were calculated for each of the systems.

RESULTS: On average, 26.4% of the lung volume (standard deviation, 5.1) and 43.0% of the lung area (standard deviation, 6.6) were obscured.
A systematic decrease in volume standard deviation as dataset size increases indicates a better-constrained surface.
