Selected parameters of spinning solutions (viscosity, conductivity and surface tension) and process parameters (applied voltage, needle-to-collector distance and collector type) were studied.
The electrospinning process is quite flexible; therefore, it provides more efficient control over the nanofiber scaffold by altering several governing experimental parameters, including polymer concentration, voltage, and needle to collector distance [7].
In this study, most important electrospinning parameters such as polymer concentration, applied voltage, and needle tip to collector distance were investigated which affects the composite fibers diameter and morphology.
A novel non-equilibrium plasma-based water treatment reactor consisting of high voltage multi-needle electrode submerged in aqueous phase and reticulated ground electrode suspended in gas phase above water was developed and applied to treat low concentrations of methyl orange (MO).
The mass spectrometer was operated in positive ion mode at a 2 kV needle voltage and a 38 V capillary voltage.
Conditions for electrospray were as follows: positive ion mode; needle voltage 1.9 kV; no sheath and auxiliary gas flow; tube lens voltage 45 V; and capillary temperature 250°C.
Ionization was achieved in positive electrospray ionization mode, scanning between 70 700 m/z with the needle voltage 5000 V at 13 μA; nebulization gas (nitrogen) temperature of 350°C at 20 psi; shield voltage 175 V; capillary voltage 53 V and the detector voltage was 1600 V.
The following experimental parameters were used to record mass spectra of 1 mg/ml LmrA and LmrA-MD: needle voltage of 1.8 kV and MCP 2350 V, 150 V cone and 100 V collision voltages for LmrA-MD and 200 V both cone and collision voltages for LmrA.
Applying a high voltage to the needle then explodes the drop into a spray of droplets, each just 25 nanometres in size, containing water and ROS.Powered upDroplets this small would usually evaporate in a fraction of a second, and the ions within bond to organic molecules even faster.
The applied electric voltage between the needle tip and the collector was 10 kV.
Figure 4c shows electrospinning using 2 tubes with 3 nozzles each and requires a higher needle voltage of 25 kV feeding both the tubes.
