The baseline (or screening) visit values for items (0 = wrong; 1 = right) and total scores were obtained for individuals participating in the study on two tests; these were chosen because: a) they were recorded in the data files at the item level; and b) they represent a 'global' and a more 'specific' measure, so that we might observe different results for IIV derived from the items in each.
