You open it, you make a neat list of the sites you wish to visit, visit them, and then you are done (ideally).
The total study duration is 30 to 36 months and consists of enrollment, a baseline visit (visit 1) and follow-up visits approximately every 3 months.
Data were also collected from the visit prior to the baseline visit (visit −1) and from two serial visits after the baseline visit (visits +1 and +2).
Data on patient demographics (age, gender), educational status, diagnosis (CM, CM + medication overuse), migraine duration (year), family history for migraine, previous migraine treatments, migraine triggers are collected at baseline visit (visit 1).

This was tested using a factorial design, with VISIT (Visit 1, Visit 2) as the first factor, and GROUP (ALS-GCSF, ALS-Placebo), as the second factor.
Subjects were assessed during their usual centre visits at the inclusion visit (visit 1; week 0), follow-up visit (visit 2; 3–6 weeks after injection) and end-of-study visit (visit 3; 12–16 weeks after injection).
The trial consisted of 10 visits: a screening visit (Visit 1), two treatment periods (Visits 2 5 and Visits 6 9) and a follow-up visit (Visit 10).
At the screening visit (Visit 1) and the inclusion visit (Visit 2), the age and gender of the patient were recorded and weight, height and vital signs measured.
Demographic measurements were recorded on the first clinical visit (visit 1 screening).
