The purpose of this report is to describe the prevalence of diagnosed eye and vision conditions among children younger than 18 years in the United States.
Little is known about the distribution of eye and vision conditions among children and about possible disparities in the distribution of these conditions.
In the first experiment, eight healthy participants (aged 18.8 ± 1.8 years) descended a stairway under two visual conditions (low-contrast or high-contrast marking at the edge of the treads) and two vision conditions (normal vision and low vision).
