Both Rogers and Yoğurtçu see the greatest benefits from blockchain in applications where manual confirmation or cross-border parties are involved, or where automatic tracking and validation visible to all parties is desired.
From the analysis of the Kaplan-Meier curves, we can also see that the effect of the predictor FLT3-ITD seems to vary over time (this issue is more visible in the validation set, where FLT3-ITD seems to have no effect in the first 250 days, while for the training set it seems to have no effect only in the first 150 days).
What will validation validate?
A major purpose of CML is to make sure that all chemical information is validatable and that the rules for this validation are openly visible.
Thirty-four macroscopically visible lesions were processed for histological validation from the 17 available left distal femurs.
Whereas a strong G72 signal was visible after 2 – 12 hours on the validation blots (Fig. 1A), no G72 mRNA was detected in any of the CNS regions tested, even after very long exposure times (Fig. 1B).
This data analysis proved highly specific for diagnosis (100% specificity in the final validation set), provided those with visible blood contamination were excluded from analysis; 6 8% of samples were classified as indeterminate.
When visible bands were detected, the cDNA samples were further subjected to validation PCR (validation set in Supplementary Table 3).
In the stage 2 validation experiment, the maximum extent of visible damage was of the order of 1.45 m for the fully coupled 38-mm emulsion charge.
