In addition, 3 participants who reported the sum total of all walking, moderate and vigorous time more than 16 hours per day in IPAQ were treated as outliers and excluded from analysis according to IPAQ data processing rule [ 34].
Correlates of fasting and 2-h glucose concentrations in multivariate analysis are shown in Table 3. Variables included in the model were as follows: age, sex, waist circumference, sitting time, walking time, moderate activity time, and vigorous activity time.
Nevertheless, when these participants are excluded from our analysis the differences in moderate-to-vigorous time, sedentary time, and total activity remained statistically significant (data not shown).
