The top two images, a and b, show areas of ~5 × 5 μm; in other words, general view of samples is given, whereas other images, c f, show small separated areas, up to ~0.5 × 0.5 μm size.

For image collection, lower magnification was first employed to examine the whole view of samples, and higher magnification was then used to focus on sample areas that were representative overall.

Figure 3a d shows the top views of sample A (30 nm), sample B (50 nm), sample C (100 nm), and sample D (150 nm), respectively.
