From a practical point of view, cine-MRI sequences are usually acquired within a single breath-hold, although it is currently possible to perform these studies in real-time fashion, which, however, reduces spatial and temporal resolution.
After obtaining four-, three- and two-chamber view cines, stacks of 10 to 12 short-axis slices were acquired to fully cover the left ventricle (LV).
First, we viewed cine-loop animations of all functional runs to ensure no visible movements or artifacts.
The images were viewed in cine-loop modality.
Care was taken to avoid including any area outside the tumor, necrosis, or visible vessel in the ROI, which was facilitated by viewing a cine-loop of acquisition in order to gauge the degree of patient movement and the tumor margins (Fig. 1).
A good agreement with a maximum deviation of 6.7% between the estimated slug parameters from the adopted technique and the Phantom cine view controller software was achieved.
The basal slice was selected with the aid of long-axis cine view images.
In addition to the regional evaluation of the myocardium in dobutamine stress echocardiography, LV wall motion was also assessed in all animals (n = 11-13/strain 11-13/strainxis cine view.
The visualization of CSF dynamics in sequential cine views may provide valuable information and management guidance for patients with pathophysiologic conditions.
The transition lengths were analysed for all observers, abnormal cases and for different image presentations in the cine loop viewing modes (Fig. 9).
Contrast images were acquired 10to1515 min after administration of 0.2 mmol kg−1 gadolinium-DTPA in the same views as in the cine images, using a two-dimensional segmented inversion-recovery prepared gradient echo sequence (TE 4.4 ms, TR 9.8 ms, inversion time 250 to 300 ms, typical voxel size 1.3 × 1.6 × 5.0 mm).
