As far as we are aware, our study is the first adequately powered, randomized controlled trial investigating psycho-education delivered via booklets, internationally and in Arab speaking countries, assessing participants' knowledge of schizophrenia, and positive and negative symptoms, relapse and caregivers' burden of care and quality of life.
