A new Olympic Park - which Mr Chernyshenko says will get its final "beautification work" this October - has been built by the Black Sea coast in the Imeretin Valley, with 11 venues divided between two clusters, one coastal and one mountainside.
The venues are divided into two clusters: "coastal" and "mountain".
Competition venues were divided between the area surrounding Sochi, a resort city of some 350,000 residents on the eastern shore of the Black Sea, and Krasnaya Polyana, a ski resort in the nearby Caucasus Mountains.
And because venues are divided into so many spaces – the Pleasance now has theatres called Above, Beyond, Beneath and most other locational prepositions – numerous queues plait and overlap, differentiated only by a small sign at the front with the name of the entertainment.
But the driving force behind multi-screen exhibition was the Canadian Nat Taylor, who devised the idea of splitting single-screen venues when he divided the Elgin, Ottawa to show both Alfred Hitchcock's Witness for the Prosecution and David Lean's The Bridge on the River Kwai in 1957.
If the results are divided by venue, then the most supportive findings associated with prospect are related to interior venues (Fig. 7).
At Balenciaga on Sunday morning, in a hangar-sized venue on the Périphérique divided into corridor-shaped catwalks by plain white curtains, the way beds are on a hospital ward, it was a watermelon-pink dress, which swung loose from turtleneck to knee, long sleeves almost meeting duck-egg blue gloves, the skirt slashed to one hip.

With trading more divided among venues (see chart), it became harder to dispose of big blocks of shares without moving prices.
Not all are showing here, thankfully; the curators, Stephanie Wiles and Jean-Luc Monterosso, whittled the selection down to about 60 images dating from 1996 to 2003, and divided between venues by media.
