Costa Rica uses the healthy eating circle, which is divided into four food groups: cereals, legumes and starchy vegetables; vegetables and fruits; animal-source foods; fats and sugars.
Total fruit (including 100% juice), whole fruits (excluding juice), total vegetables, dark green and orange vegetables, vegetables and legumes (legumes included as a vegetable only after the Meat and Beans standard was met), total grains and whole grains categories are each scored out of five.
Some specific footprint values for water consumption and GHG emissions, were not available for some of the food groups (cereals, fruits, vegetables, vegetable oils, nuts, etc).
Higher amounts of tocopherol are available in vegetables, vegetable oils like wheat germ oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil and seeds, corn, soy and some sorts of meat.
4.1 Market Segmentation The target customers include oriental vegetable markets demanding organic and semi-organic green vegetables, vegetable processors, and private individual buyers through direct selling and farmers markets.
Women, however, recorded a little less than three-fourth of the recommended amount.> Consumption of vegetables, vegetable products, mushrooms and pulses was on average slightly higher for women than for men (Table 4).

"Clint believes in eating vegetables, fruits and vegetables," Dina said.
Researchers counted leafy vegetables, fungi, root vegetables, sprouts and vegetables from vines or stalks as separate categories.
"I remember the smell, the mix of garlic and fresh vegetables, boiled vegetables," he said.
