The diagnoses were rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in 282 cases (36%), primary or idiopathic osteoarthritis (OA) in 185 (24%), posttraumatic arthritis (PtA) in 266 (34%), and various diagnoses including hemophilia, hemochromatosis, and psoriatic arthritis in 47 cases (6%) (Table 2).
For that reason, we also compared the results with the data from a prospective follow-up study with careful follow-up of 1,265 consecutive patients with various diagnoses, including exudative AMD, who received 4,303 intravitreal injections of bevacizumab [ 3].

Nevertheless, the more comprehensive the list of communicable incidental findings is, the more complex the health economic evaluation will be, because various treatment options, depending on the different diagnoses, including their effectiveness, need to be considered.
