Musically, Lola Versus Powerman is varied, contrasting gentle ballads like "Get Back in Line" and "A Long Way From Home" against hard rock songs like "Rats" and "Powerman", with "Denmark Street" and "The Moneygoround" paying homage to the English music hall tradition.
In the mixed contrasts condition, tuned response amplitude varied with contrast, and, not unexpectedly, firing rates were lower at low contrast compared to higher contrasts in the vast majority of the cells (Fig. 4A).
