Variation in the selectivity of dehydrogenation and hydrogenation reactions was observed as a result of the conditions of hydrogen transfer from the zone of paraffin, olefin or cyclohexane dehydrogenation into the zone of diene hydrogenation through a hydrogen permeable membrane in the form of foil, thin-walled tube or a dense palladium alloy layer on the thermostable porous support.
Figures 4 and 5 represent the changes in the parameters of TR, TOS, and H2/CO ratio in relation to the variations in the gasoline selectivity.
By using calcium imaging to visualize dendritic activation during visual motion in various directions, we were able to obtain a direct view at the local variations in directional selectivity of the dendrites of individual fly LPTCs.
However, rather than simply integrating inputs in a purely retinotopic way, some LPTCs also exhibit local variations in direction selectivity that are the result of indirect non-retinotopic inputs, which converge via extended synapses from the contralateral brain hemisphere.
These agree with the experimental observations and provide an explanation for variations in reaction selectivity.
To gain additional insight into variations in substrate selectivity, we have analyzed two SDC-like enzymes from Medicago truncatula and Cicer arietinum.
In most animal species examined different MT isoforms show poor or no appreciable differentiation and specialization in their functions and metal-binding preferences [ 7, 8], although variations in metal selectivity between MT domains exist in some cases [ 9- 11].
The selectivity of butylene showed the same variation with the selectivity of propylene.
As a result of the support morphology the following features were observed: (i) variety of copper species on the surface of the nanoshaped ceria; (ii) different capability and stability of carbonate formation; (iii) desorption of products from CH3OH-TPD at different temperatures; (iv) activity, selectivity and stability variations in the POM reaction related to oxidation state of the copper phase.
The defining characteristics of marking sites are unclear across species, and variation in the literature concerning selectivity may be explained by behavioural plasticity.
