The average LD decay for all chromosomes was estimated at approximately 250 kb, when the value of the cut off for r 2 was set to 0.2.
The theoretical values of the cut-off frequency for the curves of Figure 4 are and, to be compared with the experimental estimate.
We performed simulations for perpendicular incidence on the NP and on the flat target for various values of the cut-off energy, E c, for electronic stopping (see Table 1).
